Tarihin Arka Odası Sultanahmet Eresin....

Her anı ayrı yasamak gerek tarih kokuyor. sizi geçmişe , zamanda yolculuğa götürüyor adeta.

We stayed at this property for four nights. Room was quite comfortable; nice bed, well-appointed bathroom, desk and sitting area in the large room. Decent wifi. The included breakfast was really quite good.

The staff was friendly. They helped us figure out how to visit a nice local Turkish bath, and recommended nearby restaurants and sites to visit. We had a pretty good plan already but it was good to get some local advice.

It's a very short walk uphill to the Hippodrome, the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. It's maybe ten minutes from the Sultanahmet tram stop (and the tram is a great way to get around, with simple RFID access cards that can be shared, and can be bought at kiosks at the stops or at nearby shops).

Overall a fantastic base for exploring the beautiful city of Istanbul!

This was my second stay at this fabulous hotel, and it was just as wonderful as remembered (first visit with my mother and sister, and this visit with my husband). The front desk manager was again extraordinarily friendly and helpful, while the staff in the restaurant, housekeeping and etc provided us with a stay we will not forget. Our room was spacious and ultra-clean, and the location can't be beat. You are within an easy walk of Sultan Ahmet Square and all there is to see and do in this historic area. The restaurant choice is phenomenal, and walking around the neighborhood, day or night, offers countless things to see and do (and buy....) I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful hotel. We hope to be there for stay #3 soon.

Really Excellent

Extremely comfortable, clean and cozy hotel which is the most perfect base from which to explore Sultanahmet. Warm and welcoming staff whose exhaustive knowledge of the area will really improve your visit. Very child friendly. Many thanks to the entire team for a great stay and fantastic introduction to İstanbul for my friends and family!

Amazing Hotel

This is my second time at the Eresin Hotel Sultanahmet - in five years. I think this hotel is worth the time to give a great review. Rooms are very good, very clean, staff are very well trained to very high standards, they go out of there way to help. The Breakfast on the roof in the morning is very good, with great views of the local area. Very close to some of the major attractions, with very good transport connections to the airport. Lots of good local Turkish restaurants, coffee bars etc. I highly recommend this Hotel. I will always stay here when in Istanbul. A big thank you to the Management & Staff for making our trip so enjoyable.
Steve Uk.

A remarkable hotel ..

We stayed here four nights in September and by the second evening felt like I knew everyone at the front desk and the terrace restaurant/bar (which by the way has a million dollar view of the Bosphorus as one sips one's morning coffee or has an evening drink) -- everyone was very professional and very friendly. The hotel is ideally situated if you are a first-time visitor (as we were) and want to see the tourist highlights of Istanbul (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Sultan's palace, etc) -- we walked everywhere and it was wonderful. The hotel is also in easy walking distance to a number of great restaurants, and the front desk recommendations were excellent. I thus would have given a five star review even if everything on our trip had gone without a hitch, but one reason I am over-the-top enthusiastic for the Eresin is on the third day my wife took a bad fall on one of the streets near the mosque and broke her wrist. We made it back to the hotel and the staff's attention, helpfulness and kindness in arranging care were so impressive. In short, I rank this hotel as one of my favorites worldwide and would happily sing its praises to anyone who is traveling to Istanbul.

One of the best hotels in Istanbul

This hotel is great, as is near the old city and you can reach everything fast. The rooms are big and everything is clean. The staff is always helpful to make sure that you enjoy your stay in this amazing place.

Tourist in Istanbul

We were very pleased with our stay at Eresin Hotel :wonderful location, the staff was very kind and helpful, clean and stylish room, the bathroom spacious with everything you might need and tasty breakfast with good turkish coffee.. in less words all that a tourist in Istanbul might need.
Special thanks for the reception 's staff.. they really did their best.

Eresin Sultanahmet - Lovely Hotel

Really nice hotel that's well run, the room we had was very comfortable. The staff are really attentive and friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
The hotel is in the old city and everything you would want to visit is within easy walking distance.
Would recommend this hotel.

Such a great location, with welcoming staff

Top location, with so much to do within a very short walk of this hotel, with a lovely view from the room of the Blue Mosque and the river to the other direction (and from the roof terrace also). The staff are very welcoming and helpful, even lending us a Metro Card for our stay - made getting around Istanbul so easy on the trams, train and ferries.

Amazing location and service

Room was cozy. Staff was amazing and so is location. Breakfast is good, variety of restaurants nearby, close to ferry ports. I wish to thank all the staff, specially the waiter that handled breakfast. Great conversation and service. Reception desk was always willing to help. Will come back with family next for sure!

Definitely recommend!

A friendly home from home experience, displaying the richly cultured Turkish hospitality. An excellent varied buffet breakfast with professional service. An equally efficient concierge and reception helped with all our enquires. IT was the icing on the cake who took hours reprogramming the hotel WIFI to operate my son’s PlayStation! NOTHING was too much for the staff at that hotel!

Walk Anywhere

This hotel was perfect! It was beautiful and very quaint. We were able to walk everywhere in under 15 minutes. That included markets, hammams, the square and mosques. Great dinning and shopping on the same street too. Breakfast was fantastic every morning and the staff went out of their way to help us with reservations for anything and everything. It ended up snowing when we were there two weeks back and I loved that they allowed the sweet dogs and cats of the city to stay warm on their large front porch area. I couldn't have asked for a better accommodation in the city!

Maravilloso hotel

Dmitry, RU

Nice base for exploring Sultanahmet

Decided to spend a little more for two nights in Sultanahmet (time in Istanbul otherwise spent in Kadikoy). We stayed late December and you could tell it was a quiet travel time perhaps because winter or because near Christmas? Well lucky for us I think, as we were upgraded to a better room. The rooms are quite luxurious. They are decorated with Various vases, plates, which is a nice touch. Great bathroom, well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. Some noise through the night but not as bad as Kadikoy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was quite good. We had asked on arrival of breakfast was provided and were told it was but at checkout found out that it wasn’t, but the staff didn’t charge us due to the mix up. They really did go above and beyond in service. The location is fantastic if you are looking to see the big attractions like the Hagia Sophia, blue mosque, basilica cisterns etc. It is the tourist area though so perhaps restaurants are a little more expensive in this area. A taxi to taksim was approx 20TL which is pretty reasonable. The taxi to Atatürk airport was a cheap 80TL and definitely the easiest option. Sadly due to the time of year the roof terrace restaurant wasn’t open but it looked great. Also there are some artifacts that you can see in the hotel while you stay. Great choice in Sultanahmet.

Imensamente gratos. Felipe, BR

Great hotel, great staff and great service.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel and absolutely loved it. The hotel is top quality and above all the reception staff are the most helpful people I have come across. The service is excellent and I am sure you will love your stay at this hotel. The reception staff went outside their way to help us with information. The breakfast was great. The rooms are big and top quality. Very Comfortable beds. WIFI is great around the hotel and unlimited usage and its very fast. Definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Istanbul.

Excellent hotel!

It was a great hotel and I fully enjoyed my stay there. The front office staff were friendly and always helpful. The rooms are well appointed, a good size with comfortable beds. The breakfast in the Mosaic restaurant was nice. There are some historic pieces of archaeology in the Mosaic Restaurant and the Column Bar which are interesting. It is very close to many shops and restaurants, and it is a 5 min walk to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. It was a wonderful stay.

Amazing personalized service and soooo clean

My husband and I visited this wonderful hotel for 8 nights. Family members also were with us. Wonderful attentive staff, very clean, exceptional service, great location. This one is a must go indeed. Thank you Eresin hotel team for making our trip soooo memorable.

Everything about the hotel was perfect!

I just returned from a cruise which ended at Istanbul. Although I had stayed in Istanbul several times in the past I was traveling with a friend who had never been there before. Since almost everything he wanted to see was located in the Sultanahmet area I checked Trip Advisor for a good option. Fortunately we decided on the Eresin Crown.
The room was spacious and comfortable, the roof top restaurant excellent both in its food and service but most of all it was the staff that most impressed us.

The credit for this must be given to the manager of the hotel who has instilled a real sense of pride into all his staff. Anything we needed or asked for was furnished promptly and politely, However, what amazed us most was that each staff member went out of his way to exceed our requests or expectations. This was old world hotel hospitality which rarely if ever encountered today.

The Eresin Crown is a luxury hotel at a very reasonable price, in a great location, with a wonderful restaurant overlooking the Bosporus and a superb staff! Don't miss it!

Great value to money, excellent location & wonderful staff

The Eresin Hotel Sultanahmet is excellent value for money and I highly recommend it. The hotel is perfectly situated. It is only a 5 minute walk to the historic Blue Mosque and other sites. The room was a good size and meticulously maintained with a lovely large marble bathroom. The hotel is a beautiful building that tastefully incorporates many historic features into its construction. The Front-Office Manager was most kind, allowing us an extra-early check-in and a late check-out. All of the hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. The terrace restaurant has a stunning view of the Bosphorus – exactly like the picture, and the breakfast was good.

The museum hotel

This hotel is very unique because there are mosaics and historical ruins of Byzantine era. The reason I chose this hotel is those. The hotel room is antique style and I like it very much. You can see mosaics at the hotel restaurant. The rooftop restaurant was closed when I visited here. ( It's open only in the summer.) But you can go to the rooftop and see the beautiful Marmara sea just in front of you!! Highly recommended hotel for any people who are interested in historical sites and ruins.

Absolutely perfect!

All i could wish for. 5 mins walk to blue mosque and all attractions. beautiful room & bathroom. staff very friendly, we went right after the coup at 20th July till 24th July, staff really looked after us, helped us book day tours and guided us so well. their roof top terrace is amazing, for breakfast we used to sit and have it. view of phosphorus is amazing. tram station is 15 mins walk.

I was there because a Turkish friends recommendation. The location is excellent to be near of Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. The hotel has original Roman columns and other cultural antiques. The breakfast was perfect on the roof and you can see the Sea of Marmara.

★★The best★★

It was one of the best with very good rooms and excellent air conditioner and very fast Internet . the restaurant have very nice view and good breakfast with very good stuff and the hotel reception have very good information and help us a lot .we have good time at there and I suggest it to everyone

Amazing Experience

The hotel is perfectly situated, in the heart on Sultanahment; the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia are right nearby. Overall, the service was impeccable. The hotel staff made us a huge favor by sending our luggage to the airport at 1:00 am when we needed it urgently. They helped us plan our days (we stayed five days in Istanul) by recommending excellent places to eat, and locating the best landmarks at the best times for us. My family really enjoyed their time in Istanbul, and we really recommend this hotel if you ever find yourself at Sultanahmet.

Turkish hospitality at its finest

Stay in history

To stay in a modern hotel that is a part off history was a pleasure, built inside the old roman walls with 5th to 6th century roman mosaic under glass at recption left in situ not moved to a museum absolutely amazing. with a resterant on the roof over looking the sea on one side and the blue mosque on the other perfect!
