Maravilloso hotel

Amazing Experience

The hotel is perfectly situated, in the heart on Sultanahment; the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia are right nearby. Overall, the service was impeccable. My family really enjoyed their time in Istanbul, and we really recommend this hotel if you ever find yourself at Sultanahmet.

Great!!!

I was there because a Turkish friends recommendation. The location is excellent to be near of Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. The hotel has original Roman columns and other cultural antiques. The breakfast was perfect on the roof and you can see the Sea of Marmara. Good place! Turkish hospitality at its finest

Since almost everything he wanted to see was located in the Sultanahmet area I checked Trip Advisor for a good option. Fortunately we decided on the Eresin Crown.
The room was spacious and comfortable, the roof top restaurant excellent both in its food and service but most of all it was the staff that most impressed us.

The credit for this must be given to the manager of the hotel who has instilled a real sense of pride into all his staff. Anything we needed or asked for was furnished promptly and politely, However, what amazed us most was that each staff member went out of his way to exceed our requests or expectations. This was old world hotel hospitality which rarely if ever encountered today.

The Eresin Crown is a luxury hotel at a very reasonable price, in a great location, with a wonderful restaurant overlooking the Bosporus and a superb staff! Don't miss it!

1st rate quality service and location

The staff is wonderful! We were a very short walk to Hippodrome and Blue Mosque and you can cover all the other sites easily from there. Columns and mosaics and other artifacts amazed us. Don't miss the rooftop terrace which will give you wonderful water views and your first excellent view of the Blue Mosque. Our Sunday brunch was included in the price of the room and we could not believe the value of our stay. I would highly recommend this property and only regret we did not stay longer.

Read More

Die Lage ist optimal für Ausflüge und Besichtigungen. Zur Blauen Moschee und anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind es nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Die Zimmer, das Frühstück, sowie das… Read More

Imperdible los palacios de un lujo casi ofensivo y el crucero por el Bósforo. Ni que hablar del Gran Bazar y el Bazar de las especias. Un viaje de las Mil y una Noche

Breakfast each morning was included and delicious! It was like Sunday brunch every morning! The location was ideal as it is in the heart of Istanbul's historical sights. The best part of this hotel is the staff. I forgot my phone charger - one was brought to our room for me to use during our stay, on my husband's birthday a delicious care with candles and a card was delivered to our room for him. Taxi's, directions, maps, bottled water, coffee, tea, cookies, fresh fruit and more were just some of the amenities that were provided daily. All complimentary! I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return!

Highly recommended and good value for money.Preserves the personal touch that many big-name brand hotels have lost.

The hotel is unique because I have yet to come across another hotel with its own museum, and the ancient artifacts and mosaics on the ground floor lend a certain charm to the reception and the hotel bar. Despite its central location, the hotel is surprisingly peaceful. The rooms, although not large, are very nice and elegantly furnished. Breakfast was a treat with so much food to sample. Unfortunately, the terrace restaurant overlooking the Bosporus was closed due to the cold weather. We found the staff to be welcoming, helpful, and attentive - not at all obtrusive. They attended to all our needs swiftly and even gave us Turkish sweets as a farewell present! I warmy recommend the Eresin Crown, a refreshing change from the larger, impersonal chain hotels.

Although we were looking forward to exploring Istanbul and having breakfast at small cafés, the Eresin Crown offered such a wholesome breakfast that we ended up eating at our hotel every morning.

The location is great, we were withing walking distance to all the monuments and we often walked over to the tram station on Sultanahmet if we wanted to leave the area. The area is very quiet and feels safe until around 10:30 or 11 pm. It's probably best to be in a small group if you're out after that time.

The location is absolutely great because it is just walking distance to tourist attractions like the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Hagria Sophia ,Grand Bazaar and museums. Taxi ride will not be a problem because just some meters away there is a taxi stand that are all reliable. You can save money on a half day tour by yourself. Also shopping will be easy because it is also near to the Grand Bazaar, Arasta Bazaar and there are lots of small souvenir shops around the area. If you are looking for genuine staffs like carpets, Iznik vases and ceramics just ask the staff and they will gladly tell you where to go.The staff is so accommodating and hospitable. They are all highly professionals not only in hotel matters but also anything regarding Istanbul. The breakfast buffet is just great from a variety to choices. Their terrace restaurant will already give you the idea of what to see in Istanbul. There is free internet service at the lobby with floral scent where you can do some personal business while having coffee and cookies for a very low price. Our room is very comforting with windows overlooking the sea. Very clean and well kept daily. It might not be as big as other hotels on the outside but I can say with a very big smile that staying here is a huge experience. Thanks to all the staff of the Eresin Crown, you made our vacation a wonderful experience !

Our room was of average size, furnished to a high standard, very clean and with plenty of storage space. The bed was comfortable and they have a "pillow menu" so you can select exactly what suits you best.

The hotel is built on the site of the Roman palace and the foyer and ground floor restaurant incorporate part of an original wall, a mosaic and other artifacts which make a very pleasant change from the usual hotel furnishings. I believe the hotel is formally listed as a museum.

The breakfast was very good, comprehensive and varied, with a wide selection of fresh fruit even in late October.

Although it doesn't look so from the outside this is a small hotel which is generously staffed and the staff take a personal, highly professional interest in their guests: they couldn't have been more helpful.
